The result leaves Spurs NINE points off the fourth-placed Hammers with the pressure mounting on the Portuguese coach.

Bookmakers Paddy Power have Mourinho at 23/10 to face the sack with Tottenham sitting ninth in the Premier League table.

Roy Hodgson, whose Crystal Palace team have won just three of their last 13 league matches, trails Mourinho as the second favourite manager to leave at 7/2.

Meanwhile, Fulham’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday has closed the gap on 17th-placed Newcastle to just three points.

The Magpies travel to Manchester United on Sunday evening looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Chelsea last time out.

Next permanent Premier League manager to leave odds

  • Jose Mourinho – 23/10
  • Roy Hodgson – 7/2
  • Steve Bruce – 5/1
  • No manager to leave – 5/1
  • Jurgen Klopp – 11/2
  • Chris Wilder – 11/1
  • Sean Dyche – 12/1
  • Sam Allardyce – 14/1
  • Nuno Espirito Santo – 16/1
  • Ralph Hasenhuttl – 25/1
  • Mikel Arteta – 33/1
  • Scott Parker – 33/1
  • Graham Potter – 50/1
  • David Moyes – 66/1
  • Dean Smith – 66/1
  • Marcelo Bielsa – 66/1
  • Carlo Ancelotti – 75/1
  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – 80/1
  • Thomas Tuchel – 90/1
  • Brendan Rodgers – 90/1
  • Pep Guardiola – 250/1

But Newcastle’s precarious position in the table sees Steve Bruce as the third favourite top-flight boss to face the chop at 5/1.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp follows Bruce at 11/2 as the Reds suffered a home defeat to arch rivals Everton for the first time since 1999 thanks to goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson on Saturday.
