New home shirt leaked online with Hoops to wear sleek design March 31, 2021 – Posted in: Soccer
It’s been a season to forget for Celtic and Bhoys fans will be hoping to erase this campaign from their memory as soon as humanely possible.
So perhaps to promise of a fresh start next season with a fresh new kit will help lift the gloom among their supporters
The Hoops’ decade of dominance in Scottish football was put to an end by Rangers, who sealed their first title in ten years under the leadership of Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard’s men have been superb and Celtic, who have yet to appoint a new manager, know they need to up their game if they want to reclaim their title.
The Parkhead faithful will no doubt still be miserable from their rivals’ recent success, but they at least now have some cause for optimism as their home kit for next season has been leaked online and we at talkSPORT.com think it’s a stylish new design.
The adidas strip has been put online by FootyHeadlines, who have revealed a handful of reported kits from other big clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Last year, the Parkhead club agreed a record five-year kit deal with adidas worth more than £25million and they look like they have upped their game ahead of the 2021/21 campaign.
The shirt obviously features Celtic’s green and white colours but this time the adidas badge will be black, with the trademark three stripes along the sleeves in emerald green in a classy effort from the German sports giants.
This will replace this season’s yellow or gold tints on this season’s home jersey, around the edges of the sleeves and collar.
The trim of the collar will feature in white next season, with no yellow featuring apart from on the Dafabet sponsor and star above the badge.
It’s perhaps a hint that their dream of ten titles in a row never came, but it’s nevertheless a classy addition to the club’s famous colours.
What do you make of the kit, Celtic fans?
